NY STATE REGENTS
The NY State Chemistry Regents (Physical Setting/Chemistry) test is generally administered to students who have studied chemistry for 1 year. The test is a combination of multiple choice and short answer questions and lasts 3 hours. The short answer section extensively uses the 2011 Edition Reference Tables for Physical Setting/Chemistry, a generous data booklet that includes information such as names of polyatomics, solubility rules, and IUPAC rules.
We have had extensive experience tutoring students for this test. We work with students to make sure they understand all topics tested and have extensive practice with past tests (refer to the "Links" section of this website to access free practice tests).
